DEXTER, Mo. -- LeRoy Parkinson, 74, of Dexter died Friday, Nov. 16, 2001 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Essex, Mo., son of Thomas and Bernice Johnson Parkinson.
Parkinson was a retired carpenter. A former resident of St. Louis and California, he had lived in Dexter for the past 15 years.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Parkinson of Redding, Calif.; four daughters, Clara Parkinson of Dexter, Marlene O'Quinn of Oregon, Lois Hunt and Carol Ross, both of Redding, Calif.; two brothers, Arthur Parkinson of St. Louis and Mel Johnson of Michigan; one sister, Clara Litzler of Dexter; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or funeral.
Arraignments are under the direction of Watkins and Sons Funeral Service in Dexter.
