PERRYVILLE -- LeRoy F. Morrison, 81, of Perryville died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997, at his home. He was born June 13, 1915, at Perryville, son of Willis and Clara Besand Morrison. He and Corene L. Heisserer were married April 28, 1938. Morrison retired from International Shoe Co., and then was a clerk in the men's department at Rozier's. ...

PERRYVILLE -- LeRoy F. Morrison, 81, of Perryville died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997, at his home.

He was born June 13, 1915, at Perryville, son of Willis and Clara Besand Morrison. He and Corene L. Heisserer were married April 28, 1938.

Morrison retired from International Shoe Co., and then was a clerk in the men's department at Rozier's. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, VFW Post 4282, American Legion Post 133, and Knights of Columbus Council 1263. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, receiving two Bronze Stars.

Survivors include his wife; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 8-10:45 a.m. Thursday. The VFW wake will be at 10.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
