CROSSTOWN, Mo. -- LeRoy Walter Hoehn, 83, of Crosstown passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Missouri.
He was born Feb. 20, 1937, in Menfro, Missouri, to Walter A. and Erna A. Hopfer Hoehn. He and Arlene Ruby Dreyer were married Aug. 31, 1957, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, Missouri. She survives in Crosstown.
LeRoy was baptized in the Lord at Point Rest Lutheran Church in Menfro. He was a member and former elder at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown.
He was a dairy, cattle and crop farmer for many years. LeRoy loved his family, enjoyed the hard work with his dairy cows and was deeply devoted to his Lord.
Other survivors include two sons, Rick (Mary) Hoehn and Terry (Missy) Hoehn, both of Crosstown; two daughters, Gwendy (Mike) Hadler of Crosstown and Cheryl (John) Hagan of Perryville; sister, Dorothy (Gene) Schuessler of Cape Girardeau; sister-in-law, Joan Hoehn of Crosstown; 13 grandchildren, Joseph (Erin) Hoehn, Kristal (Michael) Mayor, Ryan (Amy) Hoehn, Stephanie (Wade) Weibrecht, Jackie (Robert) Huey, Angela Hoehn and special friend Dakota Zoellner, Jennifer (Chris) Hoell, Brian (Lindsey) Hadler, Kent (Katie) Hadler, Kirk (Mary) Hadler, Danielle (Ryan) Verseman, Jeremy (Chelsea) Hagan and Natalie (Ross) Moldenhauer; 24 great-grandchildren and expecting two more in May.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Calvin Hoehn; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be at Point Rest Lutheran Cemetery in Menfro.
Memorial contributions may be given to Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown.
