LeRoy Brewer

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- LeRoy J. "Topper" Brewer, 73, of Perryville died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Aug. 19, 1940, in Perryville, to Wallace J. and Iris M. Rayoum Brewer. He and Lillian L. Keller were married Dec. 20, 1957, in Chicago.

LeRoy retired from General Motors Corp.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Brewer of Perryville; three daughters, Vickie (Stanley) Winkler of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Rebecca (Melvin) Frelix of St. Mary, Mo., and Kathryn (John) Bachmann of Perryville; a son, LeRoy Jr. (Tammy) Brewer of Perryville; two brothers, Gerald (Patsy) Brewer and Gary (Darlene) Brewer of Perryville; two sisters, Wanda (Lester) Terbrak and Saundra Buerck of Perryville; a grandson; 11 granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of service Dec. 21 at Miller Family Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 21 at the funeral home. Scott Parker will officiate. Burial will be private.
