CHARLESTON -- Leroy "Jack" Bell, 58, of Ft. Worth, Texas, formerly of Charleston, died Saturday, May 15, 1993, in Ft. Worth. He was born Dec. 29, 1934, in McCrory, Ark., son of Australia and Mary Person Bell. Bell was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Rosie; a son, Eli Henderson of Charleston; a daughter, Valeria Johnson of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Richard Bell of Holland Park, Mich.; three sisters, Ruby McKinney of Detroit, Mich., Leonia Massey and Erma Robinson of Charleston; his stepmother, Naomia Bell of Detroit; two stepdaughters; a stepson, and six grandchildren.. ...

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sparks Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wiley Reed officiating. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in National Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. today.
