JONESBORO, Ill. -- Leora Bradley, 71, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at her home.
She was born Feb. 24, 1928, at Ware, daughter of Herman S. and Virgie Mae Edwards Tanner. She and Norman S. Bradley were married May 25, 1946, in Union County. He preceded her in death.
Bradley was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Sherman of Anna, Norma Strauss and Patty Barra of Jonesboro; two sons, Sam Bradley of Anna, Ray Bradley of Alto Pass; a stepson, Norman Bradley of Jackson, Mo.; three sisters, Louise Bradley of Anna, Hazel Essex of Ellis Grove, Dorothy Mitchell of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, two brothers, and an infant grandson.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Revs. Charles Mitchell and John Boyd will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
