PULASKI, Ill. -- Leone Crown, 79, of Pulaski died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 2, 1925, in Martin, Tenn., daughter of Charles and Goldie Moore McReynolds. She and David Crown were married Aug. 12, 1950. He died on Oct. 23, 2001.
Crown had worked as a teacher's aide for 23 years at Meridian School. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Rita Sue and husband Dave Krason of Pulaski, Saundra Kay and husband Bill Sharp of Olive Branch, Ill., Joyce Ann Christler of Denver, Colo., Brenda Jane and Jim Larry of Villa Ridge, Ill.; a sister, Carrie Kay Turner of Ullin, Ill.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Charles McReynolds and John David McReynolds.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m.today at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin and after 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church.
Funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, with the Rev. Terry Kern officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pulaski.
