MARBLE HILL -- Leonard T. "Corky" Wilder, 68, of Marble Hill died Monday, Jan. 20, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 1, 1928, in Ste. Genevieve, son of Leonard T. and Cecelia O'Connell Wilder. He and Verona Shanks were married July 10, 1971.

Wilder was an agent with Missouri Department of Conservation more than 30 years. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church at Leopold, VFW Post 2210 and American Legion Post 150 at Ste. Genevieve. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Edward Borchelt of Boca Raton, Fla.; a brother, Jim Wilder of Ste. Genevieve; and a sister, Inez Long of Alexandria, Va.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4:30-8 p.m. today, with parish prayers at 7. Friends may also call at Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve from 6-9 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Church of Ste. Genevieve, with the Rev. John Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Valle Springs Cemetery at Ste. Genevieve.
