LEONARD 'RANDY' CROWELL

MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- Leonard R. "Randy" Crowell, 33, of Murphysboro and formerly of Paducah, Ky., died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at his home.

He was born June 18, 1965, in Benton, Ky., the son of Leonard R. and Janice Miller Crowell Sr. He married Marla M. Woods June 1, 1990, in Jonesboro.

He was a graduate of SIU and the Free Gospel Bible Institute in Export, Pa. He was a substance abuse counselor and a medical social worker. He was an ordained Pentecostal minister and a member of the Ava Assembly of God Church in Ava.

Survivors include his wife; his father and stepmother, Joanne Woods Sr. of Paducah; his mother and stepfather, Roy Humphrey of Paducah; two sisters, Gayla Brisentine of Paducah and Rexanna Crowell of Paducah; two grandmothers and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.

Visitation will be until the funeral hour at 1:30 p.m. today at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Revs. Herbert Wilson and D.L. Hudspeth officiating.

Burial will be at the Anna City Cemetery.
