BRAZEAU, Mo. -- Leonard O. Hoehne, 85, of Brazeau died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 26, 1917, at Wittenberg, Mo., son of Joseph and Johanna Ahner Hoehne. He and Leona A. Riske were married Sept. 14, 1940.
Hoehne had been an equipment operator with Frisco Railroad, and a night watchman at East Perry Lumber Co. He was a member of National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Patricia Knight of Cape Girardeau, Carmelita Lichtenegger of Altenburg, Mo.; a son, Donald Hoehne of Brazeau; a sister, Frieda Newberry of St. Louis, Curt Hoehne of Shawneetown, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg after 4 p.m. Saturday.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating.
