Leonard Clyde Duley, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 8, 1995, at the Lutheran Nursing Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 16, 1916, at Barlow, Ky., son of Lynn Clarence Duley and May Temple Duley.

He married Ruth M. Archer on Jan. 27, 1934, at Gideon, Mo. She survives.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau. He was a machinist and worked in construction for R.B. Potashnick until retirement in 1977. He was member of Local 513 Engineers at St. Louis.

Survivors include a son, Jerry W. Duley of Gordonville; three daughters, Earlene Brown and Syble Dunlap, both of Cape Girardeau, and Shirley Ratcliff of Atlanta; two brothers, Dale Duley of Crittenden, Ky., and Fort Ray Duley of Oscar, Ky.; a sister, Robbie Armour of Jackson, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Gary Brothers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
