DAISY -- Leona Viola Lukefahr, 80, of Daisy died Sunday July 9, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 1, 1915, near Patton to Pola Benson and Mary Cook Welker.
She married Everett P. Lukefahr Oct. 20, 1934.
She was a housewife and a member of the Sedgewickville United Methodist Church where she was active as a Sunday school teacher, a member of the choir and a member of the United Methodist Women.
Survivors are her husband; one son, Perry Lukefahr of Daisy; one daughter, Marie Lukefahr of Perryville; two brothers, Coy Welker of St. Charles and Loy Welker of St. Peters; two sisters, Grace Sharrock of Jackson and Clara Mae Fadler of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call Monday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
Service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Davis officiating. Burial will be in Reagans Chapel Cemetery near Patton.
