Leona Schwettman, 82, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, March 14, 1993, at Brandywood Nursing Home in Gallatin, Tenn.
She was born Aug. 19, 1910, at Trenton, Tenn., daughter of James A. and Nora Grace Goodwin.
On April 7, 1949, she married Homer Schwettman in Piggott, Ark. He died June 30, 1986.
She was owner and operator of Happy Hollow Tavern in Oriole, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth O'Kain of Gallatin.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David Dissen officiating.
There is no visitation.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
