LEONA MOORE

PERRYVILLE -- Leona H. Moore, 84, of Perryville died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 9, 1915, at Perryville, daughter of Carl O. and Hattie S. Bergman Wirth.

She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and VFW Auxiliary Post 4282 at Perryville. She retired from Prince Gardner Corporation.

Survivors include two sisters, Irene Zoellner of San Diego, Calif., and Eleanore Pingel of Perryville; and two granddaughters, Shiela Moore and Deanna Moore, both of Bowling Green, Ky.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 9 p.m today and from 6:30 to 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home at Perryville. Parish wake will be today at 7 p.m., with a VFW Auxiliary wake at 7:15 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Rich Lause will officiate, with burial to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.
