CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Leona E. Green of 1505 Parksite in Cape Girardeau will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

The Rev. Ernest Schwartz will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Green died Saturday, April 6, at her home. She was 76.

She was born Sept. 25, 1914 in Gordonville, the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Emma Wilkening Nothdruft. On Nov. 3, 1934, she married Champ Green, who survives.

Mrs. Green was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. She also was a member of the Eastern Star, Methodist Women's Bible Class and a life member of the United Methodist Women.

Other survivors include two sons, Jim S. Green of Sikeston and William F. "Bill" Green of Naperville, Ill.; a daughter, Betty L. Warren of Bonne Terre; a brother, Sylvester G. Nothdruft of Jackson; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, where an Eastern Star service will be conducted Monday at 7 p.m.
