SCOTT CITY -- Leon Paul Weber, 59, of Scott City, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 28, 1936, at Benton, son of Joseph and Caroline Schram Weber. He and Doris Ann Westrich were married Sept. 30, 1961, in Cape Girardeau.
Weber worked at Marquette Cement Co. in Cape Girardeau 10 years, and then was an engineer with Cottonbelt Railroad 22 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Division 442 of Scott City.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Diana Weber of Ottawa, Ill., Paula Gray and Sheila Nation of Scott City, Trisha Weber of the home; five brothers, Dennis Weber of Belton, Jerome Weber of Jamesport, Charles and James Weber of Cape Girardeau, Joseph Weber of St. Charles; five sisters, Anna Creel of Jefferson City, Vi Smith of Evansville, Ind., Ella Seiser of Cape Girardeau, Marcella Zumwalt of Bowling Green, Helen Clark of East Hampton, Conn.; a stepbrother, William Grootens of Quincy, Ill.; a stepsister, Martha Simmons of Cape Girardeau, and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5-9 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 8.
Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Pat Wissman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
