LEON JANNIN

PERRYVILLE -- Leon Francis Jannin, 72, of Perryville died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 19, 1924, at Silver Lake, son of Marcellis and Mary Louise Siefert Jannin. He and Delphia G. Horrell were married June 14, 1952.

Jannin was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at Silver Lake.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Rose Zoellner and Lois Ruesler of Perryville; two sons, Bernard Jannin of Brewer, Paul Jannin of Perryville; three brothers, Lester, Vince and Robert Jannin of Perryville; four sisters, Alma Anderson, Mary Gibbar, Corine McClain and Gladys Gibbar, all of Perryville; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. The parish wake is at 7 tonight, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
