MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Leon James DeBrock, 73, of Marble Hill passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, at his home.

He was born April 7, 1942, in Hibble, Missouri, son of Fred William and Martha Christine Vandeven DeBrock. Leon and Connie Sue Stoffel were united in marriage Oct. 12, 1968.

Leon worked for 39 years at the Florsheim Shoe Factory as an edge trimmer and 10 years in the maintenance department at the Southeast Missouri Hospital and was a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon, Missouri.

Survivors include his wife, Connie of Marble Hill; daughters Rebecca (Bob) Fluchel, Angela (Todd E.) Peters and Jennifer (Mike) Rosanna, all of Marble Hill; brothers Joe DeBrock of Advance, Missouri, Jerome DeBrock of Delta and Dave DeBrock of Cape Girardeau; sisters Wilma Horrell of Marble Hill and Mary Agnes Chapman of Delta; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ralph DeBrock; and a sister, Marjorie.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, with parish rosary at 5 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Glennon, with the Rev. David Coon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Glennon.
