PERRYVILLE -- Leola C. "Lee" Koenig, 67, of Perryville, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 1996, at her home.

She was born March 4, 1928, in Perry County, daughter of Henry and Birdie Berkbuegler Kahmke. She and Earl T. "Smokey" Koenig were married Feb. 7, 1948. He died Feb. 16, 1996.

Koenig had owned and operated a hair salon. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Koenig of Perryville, and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6:30-8:30 a.m.
