CHARLESTON -- Leo Doyle Tinker, 69, of Charleston died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born June 25, 1930, in St. Louis, son of Walter and Stella D. Bouse Tinker. He married Jo Ann Laster on June 6, 1986. She survives.
He had been employed by the Florsheim Shoe Factory in St. Louis until his retirement, then he moved to Charleston. He attended the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston.
He also is survived by three sons, Doyle Tinker of Benton, and William and Dennis Tinker, both of Sikeston; a daughter, Dee Anna Stepens of Collinsville, Ill.; two brothers, Harold Tinker of Florence, Ore., and Floyd Tinker of Davenport, Fla.; a sister, Freda Veccro of New Orleans, La; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Penn officiating.
Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
