COMMERCE -- Leo Joseph LeDure, 88, of Commerce died Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 6, 1910, at Commerce, son of Nick and Nellie Arnold LeDure. He and Mamie A. Sander were married on Dec. 20, 1933, at Ancell.
He was a tugboat operator for the Corps of Engineers.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Bobby, Edwin, Garland and Roy LeDure, all of Commerce; a daughter, Wanda Reed of Commerce; a sister, Lillie Welter of Benton; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and two brothers.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City. The Rev. Jim King will officiate, with burial in the Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
