PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Leo Ludwig Roth of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd will officiate, with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to service time.

Roth, 85, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 1995, at Perry Oaks Health Care Center in Perryville.

He was born Aug. 14, 1910, in Perry County, son of Benjamin and Bertha Schmid Roth. He married Alma Sandler, who preceded him in death.

Roth was a retired machinist with Crown Cork and Seal in Cicero, Ill. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Roger Roth of Evansville, Ind.; a daughter, Wanda Hohman of St. Louis; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
