CHARLESTON -- Leo L. Bruenderman, 77, of Wilsonville, Ore., died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995, in Wilsonville.

He was born April 10, 1918, in Charleston, son of Ben and Louise Renaud Bruenderman. He and Leona L. Heisser were married Sept. 22, 1945. She died July 14, 1968.

Bruenderman had lived in Scott and Mississippi counties all his life, until moving to Wilsonville in 1994. He was a retired farmer, member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton and active in Knights of Columbus. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

Survivors include three brothers, Raymond Bruenderman of Cape Girardeau, Robert Bruenderman of Charleston, Bernard Bruenderman of Wilsonville; two sisters, Mary Newcomb and Bernice Keen of Charleston.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 4:30 p.m. Sunday. A prayer service will be held at 6.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Henry's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Richard Lause officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
