GLENNONVILLE -- Leo Joseph Kuper, 79, of Glennonville died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at Lucy Lee Healthcare System in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Nov. 6, 1919, at Glennonville, son of Albert John Kuper and Otilda Teresa Eberhard Kuper.
On Nov. 23, 1950, he married Marie Siebert Kuper, who survives.
He served in the Army during World War II in Europe and served in Korea.
He was retired from Federal Mogul in Malden and also worked for Bradshaw Funeral Home for more than 30 years.
He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Glennonville, a member of St. Jerome Council Knights of Columbus in Glennonville and the VFW in Malden.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Steven Kuper of Malden and Leonard R. Kuper of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Bernard Kuper of St. Louis; a sister Rosemary Grosvenor of Chester, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
A brother and sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Homes Inc. of Malden, with a prayer service at 5.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Teresa Catholic Church, with the Rev. Glenn Eftink officiating. Burial will be at St. Teresa Cemetery.
