Leo W. Allstun Sr., 95, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, July 24, 2015. He lived at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. Louis for the past three years.

Leo was born March 15, 1920, in Sterling, Colorado, to Alta Mae Castleberry and Ansil Allstun.

Leo was a member of Park Baptist Church for over 40 years and worked closely with his brothers and sisters in Christ serving the community.

Leo was a graduate of East High School in Denver and obtained his bachelor of science degree from the University of South Carolina in 1956.

He worked for and retired from McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Co. in St. Louis.

He served in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and the National Guard, and obtained a private pilot's license.

Leo enjoyed antique cars, aircraft, classical and big-band music.

Leo was a son, wonderful husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, a good friend to many and a man after God's own Heart. He leaves a grand legacy.

He is survived by his son, Leo Jr. (Wally) (Pat); six grand-children, Denise Young (Mike), Mark Wrozier (Patty), Scott Wrozier and Kirk Wrozier (Jennifer), Katie Ferguson (Josh) and David Allstun (Andrea). Leo has 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandcildren. He also is survived by close family friends Diane and Dann Dickemann.

Allstun was preceded in death by four brothers, Woodrow, Victor, Owen and Henry; Leo's wife, Zola, on July 1, 1998; and daughter Sheryl Wrozier (Mike) on Jan. 31, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hutchens Mortuary, 675 Graham Road, Florissant, Missouri.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Park Baptist Church in Florissant. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
