Lenos Hilpert Walter, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at Ratliff Care Center.
He was born May 27, 1929, at Ancell, son of Otto and Anna Sander Walter.
Walter had been an assembly line worker at Carter Carburetor in St. Louis. He was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three brothers, Alfred Walter of Fruitland, Henry Walter of Scott City, Gene Walter of Morrisville, Mo.; two sisters, Dorothy Hamm of Commerce, Mo., and Kathleen Green of Perryville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Daniel Hackney officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
