LENORE KERSTNER

JACKSON -- Funeral service for Lenore Kerstner, formerly of Jackson, will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lawrence Eatherton will officiate, with burial in Jackson City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Kerstner, 103, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 1991, at the Lutheran Home, where she had resided nine years.

She was born April 13, 1888, at Gordonville, daughter of Claus and Elizabeth Hirsch Kerstner. She lived in Jackson most of her life, and was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include four nieces, Clara Kiehne and Ella Grant of Jackson, Albertine Scherrer of St. Louis, Vanita Bilotla of Winter Park, Fla.; several great, great-great, and great-great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother and a half sister.
