PERRYVILLE -- Lenn C. Miget, 88, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at his home. He was born April 23, 1911, in Perry County, son of Louis A. and Mary Huber Miget. He and Anna Marie Henderson were married Sept. 16, 1935, at Perryville. She died July 25, 1996...

PERRYVILLE -- Lenn C. Miget, 88, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at his home.

He was born April 23, 1911, in Perry County, son of Louis A. and Mary Huber Miget. He and Anna Marie Henderson were married Sept. 16, 1935, at Perryville. She died July 25, 1996.

Miget had been a cutter at International Shoe Co. until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul parish, a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus, an American Legion booster and a member of the Perry Promenaders Square Dance Club. He also was a charter member of the Jefferson County Squares Square Dancing Club.

Survivors include four sons, Gilbert L. Miget of Hillsboro, Richard A. Miget of Biehle, Ray A. Miget of Perryville and Kenneth C. Miget of Highland; a daughter, Janet A. Hager of Troy; two brothers, Stephen Miget and Weldon Miget, both of Pekin, Ill.; five sisters, Elta Berkbigler, Mable Berkbigler and Eula Smith, all of Perryville and Pat Kirn and Zella Green, both of DeSoto; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at Miller Family Funeral Home. A parish wake with the Knights of Columbus will be at 7 p.m.

Visitation also will be from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Monday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
