Lendle Hendershott, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 26, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1932 in Hahn, Mo. On Feb. 7, 1956, he married the former Virgie Kinnison in Tacoma, Wash., She survives. He is also survived by one son, Michael Hendershott, Jackson; two daughters, Kathy Ringwald, Gordonville, Jean Blumenberg, Dallas; three brother Jim Hendershott, Fruitland, Charlie Hendershott, Senath, Donald Hendershott, Zalma; five sisters, Mable Dinkins, Grassy, Clara Hemmann, Uniontown, Laura Tallent and Lillian Rougger, both of St. ...

Lendle Hendershott, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 26, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He is also survived by one son, Michael Hendershott, Jackson; two daughters, Kathy Ringwald, Gordonville, Jean Blumenberg, Dallas; three brother Jim Hendershott, Fruitland, Charlie Hendershott, Senath, Donald Hendershott, Zalma; five sisters, Mable Dinkins, Grassy, Clara Hemmann, Uniontown, Laura Tallent and Lillian Rougger, both of St. Louis, Dorothy Payne, Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He lived most of his life in Bollinger and Cape Girardeau counties, moving here in 1968 from St. Louis. He worked the past 25 years at Procter and Gamble.

He was an Army veteran, serving five years active duty during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church.

Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel with the Rev. David Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
