SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Lenard F. Lewis of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Kelley Grubbs will officiate, with burial in Blodgett Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from 11 a.m. until service time.
Lewis, 70, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
He was born Sept. 4, 1927, at Blodgett, son of George Earl and Inez Marie Fox Lewis.
Lewis was a parts manager at an Oldsmobile dealership in Albuquerque, N.M., 13 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include three brothers, Robert Lewis of McAlpin, Fla., Glenn Lewis of St. Clair, Donald Lewis of Albuquerque; two sisters, Lula Bohnert and Rosemary Shaw of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers and a sister.
