SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Lena Mae Marshall, 94, of Scott City, formerly of Crowder, Mo., died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at Heartland Care Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 17, 1906, in the state of Texas, daughter of Wesley and Alice Cooper. She first married William Russell Foster in 1931. He died in September 1954. She and Sterling E. "Mutt" Marshall were married in 1963. He died June 30, 1987...

SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Lena Mae Marshall, 94, of Scott City, formerly of Crowder, Mo., died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at Heartland Care Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 17, 1906, in the state of Texas, daughter of Wesley and Alice Cooper. She first married William Russell Foster in 1931. He died in September 1954. She and Sterling E. "Mutt" Marshall were married in 1963. He died June 30, 1987.

Survivors include a son, Earl Foster of Scott City; a sister, Ruth Parks of Bloomfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo., from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
