ANNA, Ill. -- Lena Hinkle, 90, of Anna, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1993, at City Care Center. She was born July 17, 1902, in Union County, daughter of Marsiella and Lottie Adams Jackson. She and Francis Hinkle were married Feb. 19, 1922. He died Sept. 13, 1978...

ANNA, Ill. -- Lena Hinkle, 90, of Anna, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1993, at City Care Center.

She was born July 17, 1902, in Union County, daughter of Marsiella and Lottie Adams Jackson. She and Francis Hinkle were married Feb. 19, 1922. He died Sept. 13, 1978.

Hinkle was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Opal Brimm of Anna; two sons, Harry and Carl Hinkle of Anna; three sisters, Flora Jeralds of Herrin, Eleanor Cross and Clara Graham of Anna; two brothers, Jewell and Paul Jackson of Anna; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel here. The Revs. Robert Goins and Jack Holmes will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
