Lena C. Hill, 78, of St. Charles, Mo., died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at the National Health Care Center in St. Charles. She was born Nov. 28, 1912, in Pike County, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Griffith. She and Harry M. Hill were married in 1932. He died Feb. 8, 1984...

Lena C. Hill, 78, of St. Charles, Mo., died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at the National Health Care Center in St. Charles.

She was born Nov. 28, 1912, in Pike County, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Griffith. She and Harry M. Hill were married in 1932. He died Feb. 8, 1984.

Hill had been a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, David Hill of Clayton, Mo., Milton Andy Hill of St. Charles and Lee Hill of San Pedro, Calif.; two brothers, John Griffith of Clarksville, Mo., and Birdie Griffith of St. Charles; and a stepgrandson.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Whitewater Christian Church. The Rev. Keith McCrary will officiate, with Miller Family Funeral Home of Perryville, Mo., in charge of arrangements.
