ADVANCE -- Lem B. Gregory, 87, of Advance died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, at his home.
He was born Oct. 7, 1910, in Lurton, Ark., son of John and Katy Jones Gregory. He and Velma Shelton were married Jan. 8, 1930, in Lurton. She died Nov. 23, 1996.
Gregory was a retired timber worker. He was a member of Advance Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth and Pruitt Gregory of Advance, Neil Gregory of Lake Geneva, Wis.; a daughter, Patsy Moore of Dudley; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, four brothers, two sisters, and two granddaughters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
