VANDUSER -- Lelia Geneva Stokes, 75, of Vanduser died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston.
She was born June 2, 1924, at Leora, daughter of Frank Benjamin and Bertha Elzada Williamson Glenn.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Morley VFW.
Survivors include six sons, Billie Ray Stokes of Waxahachie, Texas, Doyle Stokes of O'Fallon, Kenny Stokes, Bill Stokes Jr. and Mark Stokes, all of Sikeston, and Tom Reece of Bloomfield; two daughters, Eunice Bates of St. Louis and Lucy Alberson of Vanduser; a brother, Noel Glenn of Puxico; a sister, Dolores Sanders of Sikeston; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel at Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Lloyd Boley will officiate, with burial to follow at Zion Cemetery at Leora.
