CAIRO, Ill. -- Leler Clark, 86, of Lithonia, Ga., died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
She was born April 9, 1916, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of the Rev. George and Mandy Orange Mains. She and Cary Clark were married April 10, 1932, in Luxola, Ark.
Clark moved to Charleston, Mo., in the early 1940s and to Cairo in 1959. She was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Charleston.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Ollie Clark of Dalton, Ill., Delecton Clark of Lithonia, Ga., Elder Ronald Clark of Stone Mountain, Ga.; five daughters, Evangelist Mandy Collins and Evangelist Queen Pittman of Chicago, Pearl Rivas of Stone Mountain, Evangelist Shirley Green of Cairo, Brenda Brown of Lithonia; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at Cairo High School gymnasium.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday in the gymnasium. The Rev. Johnnie Posey and Elder Ronald Clark will officiate.
Sparks Funeral Home at Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
