GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Lela Kelley Sullivan, 80, of Grand Chain died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1997, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.
She was born Jan. 13, 1917, in Tiline, Ky., daughter of John and Bessie Hall Holdman. She and Wesley C. Kelley were married in 1936. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Survivors include three daughters, Catherine Short and June DuRall of Grand Chain, Shirley Darnell of Dongola; a son, Capt. Wesley Kelley of Ft. Myers Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Ines Lange of Bradley, Edith Walls of Urbandale; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Edith Walls officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Cypress.
