Lela Green

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Lela Green, 93, of Marble Hill passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, at Bertrand Nursing Home.

She was born May 23, 1926, in Ruble, Missouri, daughter of Brook and Mary Pratt Price. She married Truman Levi Green on Aug. 21, 1945, and he passed away Jan. 21, 1995.

Lela worked as a cook for several restaurants and attended Little Valley Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Kelly (Steve) Vester of Sikeston, Missouri, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Green; parents; an infant son; four daughters, three infants and Geraldine Green; and grandson, Michael Rice.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Vester officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery in Patton, Missouri.
