MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Lee Stotler, 64, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 16, 1941, in Bonne Terre, Mo., son of Wilford and Blanche Campbell Stotler. He and Ann Akens were married Aug. 19, 1972, in Oklahoma. He and Carole Windecker were married June 27, 1986, in Jonesboro, Ill.
He grew up in Bonne Terre and graduated from Lincoln University and Southeast Missouri State University School of Nursing. He worked for Saint Francis, Dr. Charles Cozean, and was currently at Heartland Care and Rehab.
Stotler served in the Army in Germany and in Desert Storm.
He was a member of VFW Post 3838.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Daniel Stotler of Scott City and Bradley Stotler of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Melissa Johnson of Granby, Colo.; two stepsons, John and Rob Mehner of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters, Connie Hahs of Overland Park, Kan., and Cathy Waltz of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Roger and Raymond Stotler of Bonne Terre; two sisters, Joyce Maddox of Spring Hill, Tenn., and Regina Murdock of Columbia, Mo.; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, with graveside rites by VFW Post 3838.
