ADVANCE -- Lee Simmons, 84, of Advance died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at Hardin Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky. She was born April 4, 1915, in Dover, Ark., daughter of William and Lillie Ford. Simmons worked 23 years at Inland Shoe Co. Survivors include a daughter, Sue Powell of Radcliff, Ky.; a sister, Faye Cato of Advance; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren...
ADVANCE -- Lee Simmons, 84, of Advance died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at Hardin Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky.
She was born April 4, 1915, in Dover, Ark., daughter of William and Lillie Ford.
Simmons worked 23 years at Inland Shoe Co.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Powell of Radcliff, Ky.; a sister, Faye Cato of Advance; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4:30-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Johns officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
