SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Lee Roy Mullin of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Vernon Self will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.
Mullin, 79, died Monday, Sept. 28, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born March 14, 1913, at Matthews, son of Fred and Rosalie Hill Mullin. He and Stella I. Brown were married Oct. 12, 1932, in New Madrid County.
Mullin was retired from Schnucks Warehouse in St. Louis. He also had been a farmer and truck driver. He was a member of Little Vine General Baptist Church, and former member of Air National Guard.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Betty Lesley and Frances Green of St. Charles, Jackie Wagoner of Blodgett, Rose Zook of St. Louis, Sharon Mayes of Sikeston; a brother, A.C. Mullin of Syracuse, N.Y.; four sisters, Marie Morgan of Joliet, Ill., Violet Didier and Edna Gaddy of St. Louis, Bernice Sample of Tulsa, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, two brothers and a sister.
