Lee Vaccaro Sciortino Fuist died Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Fountainbleau Lodge.

Mrs. Fuist was the widow of Edward Fuist; dear mother of Jan Rigdon (Denis) of Cape Girardeau, Ben Sciortino (Mary) of Wichita, Kan., and the late David Fuist; mother-in-law of Linda Fuist of St. Louis; grandmother of Becky and Darcy Rigdon, Allison and Nathan Fuist of St. Louis, Gina and Dan Sciortino of Wichita, and Joe Weaver of Bremerton, Wash.; great-grandmother of Cami Leigh and Tanner Weaver of Bremerton; sister of Josephine Pivirotto and Jim Vaccaro; sister-in-law of Rosalie Vaccaro and the late Dorothy Fuist; sister of the late Tony Vaccaro, Filomena Latragna, Marie Galati, Frances Baron, and Joseph Vaccaro.

Mrs. Fuist was a volunteer at Southeast Missouri Hospital Gift Shop, life member of the auxiliary, and member of the hospital foundation.

Mildred Feerick of Joplin, Mo., her dearest and best friend, survives.

Mrs. Fuist willed her body to St. Louis University Medical Center.

Friends may call at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2002.

A memorial Mass will be held at the church at 3 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. J. Friedel officiating.

Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
