SIKESTON -- Lectoria Wren Hony, 76, formerly of Sikeston and a resident of Norwood, Ohio, died May 8, 1993, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

She was born Dec. 17, 1916, at Charter Oak, Mo., to the late Noah and Lizzie Dismuke Tippy. She was a housewife and homemaker, and a former member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston.

She first married James E. Wren in 1930. He preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1955. On July 4, 1968, she married James E. Hony. He preceded her in death June 15, 1973.

Survivors include four sons, William Wren of New Madrid, Howard Wren of Greenville, Mo., Ray Wren of Chandler, Ariz., and Gilbert Wren Brown of Independence; five daughters, Mary Bimslager of Bowling Green, Ky., Deanna Stewart of Norwood, Ohio, Janis Hodges and Elizabeth Benthin, both of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Darleen Hodgekiss of Ionia, Mich.; 30 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.

Three sons and one brother preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel with the Rev. Billie Butler, pastor of the First United Pentecostal Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
