CHARLESTON -- Funeral for Leatha Christine Bugg of Charleston will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home Chapel in East Prairie.

Pastor Mark Odle of the Diehlstadt General Baptist Church will officiate, and burial will take place at 2 p.m. Monday in the Cagle Cemetery near Coble, Tenn.

Bugg, 67, died Friday, March 19, 1999, at Bertrand Retirement Center.

Born Dec. 12, 1931, in Centerville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Ethel Lee and Savannah Rosalee Campbell Kelley. She was married to Willie M. Bugg, who died May 13, 1988.

Bugg is survived by two sons, Willie Lee "Bill" Bugg of Wyatt and Greg Bugg of East Prairie; a daughter, Barbara Kolhoff and a brother John Lee Kelley, both of Allegan, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and, four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son and three brothers.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie and McDonald Funeral Home of Centerville are in charge of arrangements.
