STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Leatha M. Brown, 94, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at her home in Ste. Genevieve.
She was born March 10, 1924, in Ste. Genevieve and married Leonard E. "Pete" Brown on Jan. 18, 1941.
She is survived by daughters Pat (Rick) Noll and Georgia (Jerry) Weiler, both of Ste. Genevieve; son Ken (Myrna) Brown of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; sisters-in-law Marcella Martin of Saint Mary, Missouri, Lillian Martin of Ste. Genevieve and Marie Brown of Neelys Landing; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren, and one on the way; and all the children from Granny's House who considered her their grandmother over the years.
She was preceded in death by husband Leonard E. "Pete" Brown; daughter Karen Brown; parents Christopher C. and Laura Koepple Martin; brothers George, Carl C., Lemuel, Richard and C.J. Martin; sister Joyce A. Weiler; grandson Marty Weiler; and great-granddaughter Jessie LeGrand.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
Service follows at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

Leatha was a devout Christian woman. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked in child care and was affectionately known as "Grandma Brown" to many children.
