KELSO -- Funeral mass for Leadeane J. Penberthy of St. Louis was held Oct. 5 at St. William's Catholic Church in Woodson Terrace, with the Rev. Gene Seltzer officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hills Cemetery.

Penberthy, 70, died Monday, Oct. 2, 1995, at her home.

She was born March 19, 1925, in Kelso, daughter of Landry and Dora Drury. She and Carroll O. Penberthy were married Nov. 26, 1955.

Survivors include a daughter, Dannette Bazzill of St. Louis; a son, Max Penberthy of St. Charles; two brothers, Paul and Leander Drury of St. Louis; a sister, Alverta Leiner of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Scott City, and four grandchildren.
