Lea Patrish Washburn, 84, of Cape Girardeau met her Lord on Saturday, June 29, 2013.

She was born March 20, 1929, in Great Falls, Mont., to Anthony and Lillian Gruckey Pinski. She and the late Thomas A. Washburn enjoyed 43 years of marriage. They lived several years in the Chicago area and later moved to Saugatuck, Mich.

Lea primarily worked as a retail merchandiser in the Chicago area. She was a gifted artist and especially enjoyed painting. In earlier years, she liked to play golf.

Survivors include a stepson, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was a great friend to many people and the Catholic church. The size of her heart was infinite. An angel has returned home and will be greatly missed by many.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1775 Grove St., Glenview, Ill. 847-729-1525.

Cremation was accorded by McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
