MARBLE HILL -- L.B. Long, 66, of Marble Hill, died Sunday, May 21, 1995, at her home.

She was born April 22, 1929, at Scopus, daughter of Lee and Maudie Mae Cook Estes. She and the Rev. Jonas E. Long were married April 16, 1946.

Long was a member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Juanita Long of Marble Hill, Martha Compas of Jackson; a stepdaughter, Opal Fulbright of Marble Hill; three stepsons, Elzie and Francis Long of Marble Hill, Junior Long of Grassy; three brothers, Lee and Don Estes of Fenton, Chan Estes of Washington, D.C.; four sisters, Helen Miller and Louella Lanigan of Marble Hill, Mazie Bryant of Chaffee, Beulah Barton of Boss; two grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren, and 17 great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, seven brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jimmie Fulbright and Paul Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park.
