LAWRENCE ROBINSON

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lawrence V. Robinson, 86, of Perryville died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born Feb. 23, 1914, at Perry County, son of Charles Andrew and Sophie Schremp Robinson. He and Zedora Iona Proctor were married Jan. 26, 1931. She died March 27, 1984.

Robinson had been a self-employed plumber. He worked for Gilster-Mary Lee for 14 years after retiring from the plumbing business.

He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Werle of Perryville and Zelma E. Burleson of Centerville, Tenn.; three sons, Marvin Robinson of Perryville, Thomas Robinson of Many, La., and John Robinson of Cape Girardeau; 19 grandchildren; and 54 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and again from 6:30 a.m. until service time Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery.
