ADVANCE -- Lawrence Dave Williams, 92, of Advance, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1991, at Advance Nursing Center.
He was born Oct. 16, 1899, at Whitewater, son of John and Nancy Carlton Williams. He and Eula Smith were married Feb. 25, 1925, at Bloomfield.
Williams was a retired farmer and gunsmith.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gene Williams of Dexter, James Williams of Bloomsberg, Pa.; six daughters, Georgia Robins, Betty Nettler and Anna Robins of Advance, Reta VanMatre of South Bend, Ind., Lois Arsta of Columbia, Sandy Smith of Clarkton; 39 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, granddaughter, two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Wayne Page will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
